Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, build and/or assemble furniture parts made of recycled plastic lumber.

The scheduled hours for these opportunities are 1st shift (Monday – Friday) 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 2nd shift (Monday – Thursday) 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Produce and assemble parts for sub and/or final assembly to the highest quality with minimal rework.

· Stock shelves.

· Complete paperwork and verify the order is correct.

· Send completed parts to the next department in a manner that carts are easily worked.

· Remain compliant with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations.

· Recommend new and better processes, and methods to Lead or Supervisor.

· May operate forklift if certified.

· Work with other departments on various assignments, as necessary.

Delivery Route Driver Needed - 1st Shift - Off Sunday & Monday!

By The Yard, a local family-owned business, is seeking to hire a friendly and experienced Delivery Route Driver to deliver our beautiful outdoor patio furniture! The individual we are seeking will have experience driving a pick-up truck with a trailer or box truck, to transport assembled furniture to residential and commercial customers in a safe and timely manner. The schedule for this position is Tuesday – Saturday 6:00AM – 4:30PM. This position has you home each evening!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Load and unload truck with product and supplies.
Drive route and deliver furniture as directed.
Use electronic log to track, check, prioritize and route orders.
Verify order is correct and complete paperwork.
Provide exceptional service in all customer interactions.
Occasionally make minor repairs and assembly at the customer location.
May produce and assemble parts for sub and/or final assembly to the highest quality with minimal rework.
Remain compliant with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations.
Recommend new and better processes, and methods to supervisor.
Work with other departments on various assignments, as necessary.

Design and produce various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, signage, newsletters, digital graphics, and other promotional collateral, specifically for advertising placements.

Shipping/Loading Support

The purpose of this position is to set the shipping and delivery teams up for success on a daily basis. This will be accomplished by preparing orders the day before by executing the plan prepared by the Shipping Supervisor. This will help ensure that customer orders are being delivered as quickly and accurately as possible.

The hours of this position are Monday – Thursday (1:00PM – 11:00PM)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for pulling orders for drivers assigned to local deliveries with a high degree of accuracy. This includes staging the route in the proper sequence by stop as well as verifying all items and quantities associated with the order are correct.
Fully inspect products for damage to ensure the highest quality as it is being loaded. This is our last touch before delivering to the customer.
Load routes into appropriate size trailers according to piece count.
Responsible for keeping the finished goods staging area clean and organized.
Assist with palletizing freight shipments as needed.
Assist with walk up customer pickup orders.
This position may be required to make deliveries and assist Drivers with completing enhanced deliveries. An enhanced delivery involves specific furniture placement at the customer’s home, which typically requires two team members to accomplish.
Prepare plastic scrap material for transportation.
This position may be assigned other tasks and asked to work in production as needed.
Work safely, always following all warehouse/plant guidelines.
Conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner with all coworkers.
Participate and communicate process obstacles/process improvements.
Organize, maintain, and keep the warehouse space clean while adhering to BTY standards.

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor or CNC Lead, the primary functions include the setup, operation, and adjustments of the CNC machining equipment. The schedule for this position is (4) 10-hour shifts (Monday – Thursday 4:00PM – 2:00AM)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Follow part specifications to produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine.

· Produce parts to the highest quality with minimal rework.

· Remain calm when errors happen on CNC. Ask CNC Lead or Supervisor if unsure about machine operation.

· Complete paperwork and verify counts of parts prior to running order.

· Send completed parts to the next department in a manner that carts are easily worked.

· Remain compliant with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations.
